My parents' class rings. I wear my mom's 24/7 (only taking it off to shower) and I wear my dad's on a chain (seeing as how it is too big for my thumb).

Great shot. Well done :)
I love the soft lighting and these rings look awesome. Perhaps you could try to get rid of those shadows in the background. I think they're slightly distracting. A clean background would improve this shot a lot imho :)

I had another shot without the shadows, and I considered both of them heavily but I tend to like this one more. I do understand what you're saying though.

I shot this for a gift for my parents. I make thing some sort of shadowbox every year and this one was preferred by my dad. He said without them (shadows) it looks too flat.

I digress, thanks for the comment. :)
